vegetables, lean proteins (lean meat, poultry,
fish, nuts, seeds, beans), whole grains, sweeteners from nature (agave nectar, raw honey, molasses, stevia, pure maple syrup), healthy fats (olive oil, coconut oil, etc.) and more.
A diet filled with vital foods, with all of the
phytonutrients that come with eating a more
plant-based diet, is truly the key to good health.
Part of every consultation (sometimes the whole
consult) is focused on nutrition, including what
you eat, and even how you eat (i.e. quickly or slowly, without thought or mindfully, angrily or with gratitude). Suggestions are provided for enhancing this important component of our lives, and one that is often ignored. We are what we eat. or more accurately, we are what our body assimilates. What we choose to eat and how we choose to live our lives, is what is washed over or genes every day. These choices determine how our health and wellbeing express in our lives, whether through disease or through vibrant health.
